I was born in 1970 at Tirgu Mures, a city in the center
of Romania, just southeast of Cluj-Napoca, where I currently
work. My father is retired and my mother works in a
laboratory. I have a younger brother and sister. I am
married, and my wife is also a pastor. At the time of
this writing, we have a little girl, Boglarka, who is
three years old..
I started attending Bible-studies for youth when
I was sixteen, which is where I met Jesus and became
His follower. The fact that I had the opportunity
to know and follow Jesus, I consider one of the greatest
gifts of God.
After a time, I got involved in different youth activities,
then I finished a youth-leadership training course.
Afterwards, I took part in the organizing of such
training courses for years. In these courses, we trained
those young people who were involved in different
church activities, to help their pastors in their
youth ministry. We also organized Christian camps
for Sunday school children and youth every year.
In the meantime, I finished school, did my military
service, then was admitted to the Theological Seminary.
During the seminary years, I continued my youth activity.
After graduating, I served as a pastor in a Reformed
congregation. During this time, through a friend of
mine who knew Hank, I met Hank. He invited me to work
in New Hope.
After a year of work as pastor, I started working
in the New Hope ministry, where I now serve as the
commissioner of the Reformed Church of Transylvania,
a region in Romania. I am the coordinator of the Hungarian
team from Cluj, an editor, and I'm involved in youth
work - I organize conferences, evangelizing camps,
and retreats. In addition, I distribute books and
I am establishing a distribution network. |
