| Hank
Paulson is a true hero of the Gospel. A Dutchman, he
risked his life, time and again, as he crossed Soviet
borders to carry God's Word in communist-controlled
countries. The organization he founded, then known as
the Eastern European Bible Mission, smuggled literally
tons of Bibles and Christian material during the two
decades before the Iron Curtain fell.
Today his ministry, New Hope International, works quietly
in partnership with the growing Body of Christ in these
formerly closed nations. With over 100 national workers
and hundreds of volunteers in six countries, New
Hope is far better known in Eastern and Central Europe
than it is here in the United States.
I heartily commend Hank Paulson and New Hope International
to you. Moreover, I believe Project Ukraine, which will
establish urgently needed libraries for churches and
youth workers, is an exceptional opportunity to reach
a new generation for Christ.
Dr. D. James Kennedy, Senior Pastor -- Coral
Ridge Presbyterian Church

| It is a
pleasure for me to congratulate New Hope on the great
work it has been doing through the years. When
I served as the U.S. Ambassador to Romania during some
of its darkest days under the Communist dictator Nicolas
Ceausescu, EEBM (New Hope) was helpful in its mission
of providing Bibles and Christian literature to those
in need. EEBM played an important role then. Today,
its work is even more important. Please accept my best
wishes for continued success in your good work.

Former US Ambassador to Romania |

| When
Eastern Europe needed Bibles, EEBM (New Hope) was a
leader in getting the Word of God into the hands of
Christians. Now Eastern European Christian leaders are
asking for help in equipping children, youth and family
workers. New Hope is taking the lead in serving nationals
who will affect the church, not only this generation,
but the next one as well. I’m grateful for all that
New Hope does to multiply their ministry a hundred-fold
with the nationals. New Hope does what other mission
agencies say they should be doing, but aren’t!
Dr. Jim Burns, President -- Youth Builders (formerly
National Institute of Youth Ministry)

| We are thankful
for the ministry of New Hope. The Lord opened doors
to the schools and prisons. Also, New Hope helps
us with family situations. We are thankful and our hearts
are ablaze for God.

| In
the name of the Ukrainian Union of Evangelical Baptist
Christians we express our sincere gratefulness for work
you did for our nation in the past – for Bibles
and other Christian literature you printed and smuggled
to us in those very difficult times.
We are no less grateful for work you do for us now.
Your program is very good, very useful and very needed,
especially your training conferences and also all your
support of our workers. We want to thank our brother
Jaroslav Kratka who dedicated his life to work
for us and sacrificially leads this work.
We very sincerely thank all who support this work.
We are especially touched by the support of brothers
and sisters from the Czech Republic. Thank you. We thank
also our National Director Stiepan Matviiv and all the
workers who sacrificially work in different parts of
Ukraine.
Let our gracious Lord go on blessing you; we believe
that you will not cease your support. We do pray that
the Lord repay you many times your sacrifice.

Union of Associations Of Evangelical Christians and
Baptists

I’ll never forget our first meeting
with Jaroslav. Then, I only had a slight idea of what
kind of work New Hope is getting ready for in Ukraine.
But at this conference, I understood how important a
ministry this is. Our church is privileged to be chosen
by you as a place for your conference. You are a great
blessing for us. I want to assure you that our
hearts are open to you. I do appreciate the work you
do for God. But look around at how many there still
are who die in poverty, not only material but mainly
moral poverty. Please, help us to save them. Help
us with training. Help us to save families.
I would like to thank all those who financially support
New Hope. Tell them we appreciate it and we pray for
them. Tell them that through their sacrifice, God miraculously
multiplies. Your work is not easy. But I assure you
it is not in vain.
Rev. Ivan Mezur, Pastor of the Baptist Church,
Vinnica, Ukraine
